Jerrys Grow Diary For Summer 2026
Quote from Jerry on April 1, 2026, 11:22 pmWell it is about time I got involved over here. I was debating on just what I wanted to grow up on Stony Oasis Farms this year. Last year I grew 14 plants for sensimilla.
You can read about that grow here...My 2025 Free Seed Garden.
This grow was all from one photo type of free seed order....which I sell on JCS. You can choose from the normal mix of photo and autos, all photos, or all autos...your choice...only 20 bucks for my time. Likely the best deal you will find online...although some of the newer seed banks are stepping up to the plate as far as freebies are concerned.
Enough of that, this year I am going to grow out 15 (I can legally grow 15 plants here in WA as I am medical) of my best sellers, some plants that have impressed me. And, I am going to make seed with them....lots of seed!
There is literally no one growing cannabis within a few miles of where I am at...you have to go one mile from a locked gate to get to my gate on my property.
I am going to offer these seeds for sale, (plant to offer them in a big seed pack.)...and I will document the grow more once they are in the ground. I started the seeds over a month ago, so when I put them out in another 2 weeks or so the plants will be a month and a half old. This should allow them to put on some serious size...even up in the mountains with it's shorter growing season.
Will they become 10 lb monster plants? I am not sure, but I do know the plants last year got bigger then I thought they could up there...a few were close to 9 feet tall or so.
Also I am going to plant these in the ground, and in a Dryland Hügelkultur. This is what Google AI says about it...
"Hügelkultur is a traditional, sustainable gardening technique involving building raised planting mounds packed with decaying wood, branches, and compost. As the wood slowly breaks down, it creates nutrient-rich soil, retains moisture for years, and provides excellent drainage, making it ideal for self-sustaining gardens."
The difference will be mine will not be a mound, but rater a depression. It will hold water well in that dry environment. I will be doing a write up about that as well.
You will see in the images I have the plants growing in very long, deep pots made for trees...why?
Because these plants will be in these pots for a month and a half, and because of the depth they should not become root bound at all. This will help they not miss a beat when transplanted. Basically the easier you make it for a cannabis plant the bigger it can become.
I will be very busy this spring with finishing my solar install and moving onto my property permanently. But i will try to update this often.
What are you growing this year? Do a grow diary yourself and share your grow with us all...

By the way, I got one of my free seed orders in yesterday, and it had a second freebie vial. Thank you for the hook up brother!
